Diaryland exists on two main staples of human nature: Voyeurism and Egotism.

The Voyeur would be YOU, the reader, trying to catch a glimpse of what life would be like through the eyes and skin of another human being, completely different from yourself.

The Egotist is the writer himself. (yes, himself. I don't bow down to political correctness when I'm writing for myself. If you are offended, write your congressMan.) A writer writes about themselves in order to gather information, even glory, about themselves, especially when writing about themselves TO AN AUDIENCE such as the voyeurs who partake in diaryland. It's all so neat and squeeky clean.
