Thoughts of spring came

cloaked as dreams during

cold wintry nights

and wisps of snow

during blustery days.

.

I hold myself tighter

as my teeth chatter

and body shakes rhythms.

The feeling lost in extremities

a subtle reminder of the feeling

lost deep within myself.
