I guess death is cold:

I guess death is cold

you are my friend
we grew up alone
a cabin far from the town

gathering sticks in the snow
building fires to warm our toes
naked as the day we were born

The clouds hold memory
of recent dead ancestry
we stare into the white and we cry

but we can't hold those before us who have died
are they really with God in the sky?
why are we so lonely while we're alive?

am I doomed to live here eternally?
why do my so called friends forget about me?
how can I stop from disappearing

Is God so great that he refuses to die?
there are never answers, tell me why
I can look around but still I am blind

Lover, hold me close, it's cold tonight
Lover, hold me tight, I'm cold tonight
Lover, Lover, hold me tight

Lover, you're so cold, where are your eyes?
Lover, you're so cold, where are your eyes?
Lover, you're so cold, your skin feels like ice
Lover, your'e so cold, your skins turned to ice

Lover, you're not breathing, you have died.
God why am I so lonely tonight?
Lover, I'm alone, you have died.
